Together with the Montego Bay Animal Haven, we had the opportunity to speak with the Students of Sandy Bay Basic in Hanover about compassion towards animals. MBAH is a nonprofit organization founded in 2009 to raise awareness of the plight of stray and abandoned animals, and to try to tackle the problem in north west Jamaica.

Naji, dubbed their “canine school ambassador” came along for the visit with his adopted human Sue to share stories of love and compassion. The students and teachers were all treated to ice cream and face painting in celebration of their upcoming graduation.
